Wilton Integrated Servicing Program

Background

The Wilton Integrated Servicing Program (WISP), delivered for Sydney Water, is a major infrastructure project supporting the long-term development of Sydney’s south-west growth corridor. Located in Wilton, NSW, the program enables essential drinking water, recycled water, and wastewater servicing required for up to 15,000 future homes by 2047.

The project addresses critical infrastructure constraints that have delayed residential development in the region, making it a key enabler for future housing supply.

Damos was engaged across multiple delivery packages to manufacture and supply HDPE pipework and fittings supporting the staged delivery of this essential infrastructure.

The Details

Damos supplied a total of 17.495 kilometres of HDPE pipeline, along with associated fittings and fabricated components, across multiple project packages:

The scope included:
  • Drinking water, recycled water, and sewer pressure pipelines.
  • Pipe sizes ranging from small to large diameter trunk infrastructure.
  • Custom fabricated fittings, sweep bends, and pre-welded assemblies.
Engineering and Delivery
  • Early engagement during the pre-tender phase ensured alignment of product specifications, construction sequencing, and delivery requirements across all packages.
  • Damos manufactured and supplied all materials within strict program requirements; with lead times ranging from 3 to 10 weeks for Pipes, fittings and custom fabricated components.
Logistics and Execution

The project required detailed delivery coordination due to constrained laydown areas and multiple active work fronts. Damos supported installation through:

  • Staged and sequenced deliveries.
  • Just-in-time supply planning.
  • Protective handling equipment and contamination control measures.
  • Real-time production visibility through tracking systems.

Key Highlights

Damos supported the successful execution of the project through the following key contributions:

  • Pipeline infrastructure delivery: Delivered 17.495 km of HDPE pipeline infrastructure.
  • Multi package project execution: Supported multiple concurrent delivery packages.
  • Fabrication Efficiency: Provided pre-fabricated fittings to reduce on-site installation time.
  • Logistics Management: Managed complex logistics across constrained construction environments.
  • Collaborative Planning: Enabled improved scheduling through early contractor engagement and production visibility.

Outcome

The project has progressed successfully, with multiple packages delivered on schedule and remaining works ongoing. Damos’ coordinated manufacturing, fabrication, and logistics approach enabled the reliable delivery of critical water infrastructure, supporting the long-term growth and development of the Wilton region.
